Monday was shopping day. Kira and I went to the store, while leaving Silas and Maddie behind to take care of Jon. Well more Maddie than Silas. lol. I got gas, then we went to WalMart for a prescription and some cold medicine. I picked up a bbq brush for Jon too. Then we had to go to Starbucks! No Mommy-Kira time is complete without a trip to 'bucks. She got a cakepop and I got one of my drinks; today was a breve latte. They gave us samples of their raspberry Italian Sodas too! Then we went to Winco for the majority of the shopping. We had to go to Albertsons too, because I forgot to grab some stuff when I got gas there. I found a couple filet mignons and thought that would be a nice treat for dinner. My favorite guy was working the self checkout and he gave me extra monopoly tickets. I love that dude. We *finally* got home and I had to trim, separate, vacuum seal and freeze all the meats. It took a while. We had the filet that night. It was awesome! I put another honey cinnamon mask and let it stay on overnight this time.

I'd definitely say the honey treatments work! |
Tuesday I woke up not feeling so great. I took a shower first thing to get the honey and cinnamon out of my hair. I pretty much spent the whole day on the couch trying to feel better. At first, I thought I had what Jon did, but as the day progressed, I knew I didn't. It was just an icky feeling. Back in high school, if I was out all night and only got a few hours of sleep, I'd wake up and take a shower and end up puking. I think it might have been something similar to that. Silas didn't sleep that great that night anyway. Jon made his famous slop for dinner. I was so happy. I was begging him to make it. I know it sounds gross. Who'd want slop? lol. But it's really phenomenal. Mmmm.

Sick me |
Wednesday I woke up after having the most adventurous dream. I thought it was real, so when I woke up it was a bit of a letdown. It was a pretty boring day. Nothing really sticks out other than my back getting hurt pretty bad.
Thursday we ran a couple of errands. We ran over to Cash N Carry for our bi-monthly meat stash. I dropped off an application at Brown, then we went to Lowes for some kind of tool attachment Jon needed. After we got home, I made a quick lunch for Jon and myself, and he headed out to work. The girls spent 3 hours cleaning their room. They could have got it done in a half hour, but they play so much it takes them forever!
Friday was Jon's long day as usual. The girls and I cleaned the house and I gave Gwen, one of the cats, a bath. Sometimes, I think I should be a pet groomer. I have some mad magical skills when it comes to bathing cats.Never even get a scratch. Then I remember that I don't like dogs too much so that's out. haha. About an hour before my Jon got home, I trimmed up the one of the meat hunks that we had got the day before. I left a couple steaks out for dinner and tossed some potatoes in the oven with some veggies.
Saturday there were a few events that I was excited about going to. One was a Girls' Night, and the other was a friend of mine's boyfriend's birthday. But unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend either. Jon had to close, and Maddie still had a bit of ringworm still strangling on, so I didn't want to risk infecting other kids. There will be other times. Jon worked out while I stayed in with the boy. I would have worked out too, but my back is still killing me. :( Silas discovered the things hanging above his bouncer. He loves them. He'll just stare and grin at them.

Loves his birds and duck |
A friend of Jon's, Eric, is getting married in June so I ordered Silas a little "Suitsie." It came Saturday and it is probably the cutest freaking thing I have ever seen. I can't wait for Silas to wear it, although, he might upstage the groom! haha

I brought in our old dining room table we had when we first moved into this house. We took it out to the shed back then because we wanted to make more room, but now that our family is bigger, we've had to bring it back in. Our living room used to be really crowded back then too with a coffee table and an entertainment center. Now we have both of those our so there is plenty of room there now anyway.
